Chambray for Women

I recently bought a chambray shirt and when I got it home I thought, "How am I going to wear this?"  So off I went into the world of the internet to do some research of different outfit ideas.  I was happy to find some good options.  Here is what I found:

Being Blonde

For those of you who know me, you know that I LOVE my dair hair. I think that the natural wave and dark dark color are what make my hair one, if not the best, of my physical attributes.  Sometimes though I wonder how great would it be to be blonde?  This only being thought when I see great photos of blondes whose hair is almost white.  Something about the way they carry themselves, how the colors of their outfits become electric and I think, 'Yes, I would love to have Lady Gaga's hair'

 

  

I guess it would also help if I was from Nordic lineage and not Mediterranean.

Statement Shoes

Today I decided that my shoe obsession is getting a little much and that I should put it into blog form about the shoes I am loving.  I really like architectural heels.  They enchant me.  I like my shoes to be bright and pretty but with a little bit of quirky.

I love how these are almost gaudy.  The rhinestones are gorgeous!

These Marc Jacobs heels are one of my favorite.  I love how they are so different but I can't imagine walking in them!

Just the right amount of funky for everyday use!

The spider web Roberto Cavalli's are so enchanting and such a great color to be worn with everything.

These Miu Miu's are great.  Another everyday type of heel and soooo high, I am in love! or lust whichever :)

I love these Prada heels, the mix of texture and color, what a great spring shoe!

What can a post about statment shoes be without Christian Loubitain??  I told you I love color!

Finally a pair of statement shoes in action.  I can only imagine how fab this outfit has to be!

Shoe Inspiration

This photo that I saw years ago inspired me to buy a pair of two toned Nine West Heels.  She showed me that with some pretty tights, I can wear open shoes even in the winter time, something a few years ago I would have NEVER done.

All I can say is...What the #&$%! I mean really, I know that as a model and being Kanye West's girlfriend your job is to shock and awe people.  Especially trying to compete with Kanye but to go to a Paris Fashion Week show in this outfit, just boggles my mind.  I mean what were you thinking? She could have easily chosen another nude undergarment and I would have been fine with the outfit.

As you have recently found out about my obsession currently with Fur I have stumbled upon some old Sartorialist pictures of fur with great colorful shoes, another obsession of mine.  I mean really what girl doesn't love shoes? I personally LOVE LOVE bright colored and high heeled shoes!

I am so sad that there has not been a new episode of gossip girl lately.  I decided to post this picture just to show my love and dedication for the show.  Leighton Meester is one of my favorite people, so pretty and has great style, I would love to be here best friend....or at least a shopping buddy with the ability to raid her closet!

Menswear

In lieu of the women I met on my flight yesterday who was talking about a fellow coworker off to Florence to see the Pitti Uomo shows, I have decided to post some menswear photos.  I really love how many options women have and the great things we can do with clothes and accessories, but it is even better when men look great.  I think that if a man can pull off a truly amazing outfit, it is quite the accomplishment.

FUR, FUR, FUR

I am recently OBSESSED.  I love both the color, the feel and the look of fur right now.  I was given a white rabbit jacket when I was younger by my cousin, who had seemed to grow out of love with her jacket.  When I was younger, I thought it was gross and who would wear that, although it does feel delicious to the touch.  Now, I am obsessed.  I can say that I own 3 jackets both real and faux (including the rabbit) and can not get enough when I see people wearing their own:

Baby It's Cold Outside

Due to the large amounts of snow that have been hitting the midwest, east coast and even part of the southern United States (who would have thought) it is time to bundle up.  A lot of men and women choose not to wear hats due to the fact that their hair will get messed up.  These two women look so great with their hats, scarves and how they have chosen to contrast the colors and patterns.

The Big Change

I am hoping that by posting this...things will begin to change in my life.  I guess that 'big change' that I have been waiting for since I came back from Italy 5 months ago.  When I say 'big change' I mean a professional job in NYC.  That is what I am hoping  I can be open to coming next in my life.......I guess we just have to wait and see.
