Hiatus

So I have been a little absent lately.  The summer was really a rough time for me to be blogging, but I am going to be better.... HONEST.

In Leiu of my fast approaching trip to Rome, I have decided to post some photos of the beloved city that I took of some of my favorite parts of the city.  There is just one photo I am missing that I hope to get this trip.   I will keep you posted. Enjoy.

Dsquared Spine Heels

These shoes are outrageous but they are totally amazing.  I really hope to run into them so that I can try them on for myself.  I am really interested in how someone balances themselves in them.  It might be very simple and with the platform they might be very comfortable.  From the looks of it, it doesn't seem so.

Color Queens

I am a big fan of color. Personally, I really like to mix and match different colors and patterns. I know some people are afraid of color, don't know how to pair it with other colors or think it is overpowering.  Here are some photos of ladies who REALLY know how to mix it up!

Shoe Phene

I Love shoes, they might be my favorite accessory around.  They complete an outfit, portray a mood and can drastically change how dressy/casual an outfit is just in a style change.  Here are some recent favorites I have seen...

Menswear

These are my new favorite style of pants.  I love that they can be slouchy and are still very stylish.  As you can see in some of the following photos they can still look tailored and put together.  I have a few styles that I love wearing with everything.  Oversided jackets and of course ruffles.  I realized after being with some friends this weekend that my wardrobe consists probably 90% of items with some sort of ruffle detailing on them.  I love that my style is very consistent and hopefully not on overload.  Nevertheless back to the men's pants.....

Venexiana

I personally had never heard of her, but launched in 2003 by Hungarian born Kati Stern Venexiana really impressed me. Venexiana is influenced by rock music with edgy and highly structured designs using corsets, leather, fur, lace and chiffon to obtain their signature design aesthetic. I personally liked this dress the best as I love all of the texture and rosettes.

Vera Wang

I really liked a lot in her Fall/Winter collection.  I love how she uses history as inspiration for her ready-to-wear line.  I like how she designs clothes to be very feminine, artsy and textural. I also like a lot of bling.

Model Jacket

I found this photo on pics by polka dot.  I do believe that this model is wearing the Ted Baker jacket I got for Christmas last year from my brother and sister-in-law.  I love seeing articles of clothing I own or similar items and figuring out new ways to wear it...granted I know this is a coat, but I think she looks great!
